Vänta på mig!

Innan första snön lagt sig får vi hemska höststormar här. De har denna höst varat hela september och in i denna månad. Det har varit förfärliga, olidliga! Denna lördag var första dagen med blå himmel på 1,5 månad och vi passade på att vara ute i finvädret. Han hälsade minst på 10 hästar, såg dem på väldigt nära håll. Han sprang över kvarliggande vattenpölar som om de vore ingenting och hoppade med de andra hundarna som om han varit vuxen. Han verkar ropa på sina mammor att: Vänta på mig för jag är liten! Han är jättekvick och man måste VERKLIGEN ha ögonen med sig så att han inte hamnar i en dypöl eller annat djupt äckligt, det räcker med 3 cm. Men hur gick det i stallet? -Jo han var inte rädd och sa ingenting, och tog emot godis nästan som hemma. Tänk om de andra hundarna fått denna träning, skälliga Aimie f.eks

We´re jealous!

We´ve had busy, happy days with Puppy-Nisse (Chiko) lately, training him for different situations. We´ve been home to people, old people, young people, a baby, meeting some other dogs, driving him in the car, visiting different environments hearing all kinds of noises, walking him on all sorts of grounds. The vet. inspected him today OK, travelling in his new bag, called "the tuff guy" se pic. He already has his two stones,and everything was healthy. :) During all these kinds of situations we havn´t seen him scared or being uncomfortable with something. He can play outside in a new environment for him, also able to take reinforcements, and that say us that he´s satisfied and secure on himself right there. That was one of our goals. Others have been to like people, like being handled, like playing, chasing, pulling. He´s almost glued to the rope or a bigger teddybear.

His mother Nike is VERY kind to him, and he gives the same kindness to her. He´s kinder to her than to "mother" Aime. Nike is a very tolerant mother and seems to know that "she get what she gives". Instead of garding her bone she let him have it, (after some thinking) and always get it back, with him watching her eating it up. We don´t under-stand how she knows that. She´s also playing with him a lot, and give him much attention during the day. She really loves him, and is VERY happy, playing with us as a puppy herself. During night he´s sleeping totally alone, and has done for the two last weeks without any protests. What else can you wish? Well, that could be a harder coat for the showring later, but that can come.

Now on Tuesday his new family will get a tuff guy with a lot of con-fidence, he´s leaving for Åshild and Terje living on a neighbour island, not far away. We have daily contact and Chiko has also visited them once, and they´ve been her at least 4 times. Åshild is also fond of the clicker, and that satisfy us a lot. He will never get any punishment or hard words. We know that, thanks! I don´t think we will miss him, because we have so much contact with his new owners already, friends of our since the last two years. We will have so much fun together I´m for sure! It is just to great Åshild and..... you bet we´re jealous! ..........
